Alba: Daily Bible Verse

Publishing status: this is the current replacement text for Alba’s live Notion privacy-policy page. The live page still needs to be replaced and published by Ethan before the next App Store submission.

The short version

Alba does not require an account, show third-party ads, sell personal information, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Your verses, prayers, favorites, streak, journal entries, onboarding answers, reminder settings, and notification content stay on your device.

Alba does send limited pseudonymous analytics and subscription information to service providers. We use PostHog to understand app launches, onboarding progress, and paywall performance. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, restore purchases, and measure subscription and Apple Ads performance. Apple processes App Store purchases and provides privacy-preserving Apple Ads attribution.

Alba is provided by Middle Middle, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].

Information that stays on your device

Alba stores the following information locally:

• verses and prayers you read, favorite, or share;
• your streak, calendar, milestones, selected topic, and selected theme;
• your reminder times and notification preferences;
• your onboarding answers; and
• any prayer or journal note you write.

We do not send the content of those answers, favorites, prayers, or journal entries to PostHog or RevenueCat. Deleting Alba or using its reset controls removes the local data.

Product analytics

We use PostHog to understand whether Alba is functioning and how its main flows are used. PostHog receives:

• app lifecycle events, such as installation, app open, active/background state, and app update;
• onboarding step identifiers and positions, onboarding completion, and the assigned onboarding variant—but not the answers entered at those steps;
