RoomTrue (“RoomTrue,” “we,” “us”) is an iOS app operated by Middle Middle LLC that lets you photograph a room and restyle it with AI into aesthetics you choose. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].

What we collect

Photos you provide. Room photos you upload for restyling, and inspiration images you choose to import (for example, saved screenshots or, if you connect it, pins from your Pinterest account). We only access photos you explicitly select — we never scan your camera roll.

Account information. When you sign in with Apple we receive your name (or Apple’s private relay alias), email address, and a unique identifier. We use Supabase to manage authentication and store account data.

Purchase information. Subscriptions and credit purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage your credit balance. We never see your payment card details.

Usage analytics. The current iOS version does not include a third-party analytics or advertising SDK. We do not sell your data and we do not use cross-context behavioral advertising. If we add analytics in a later version, we will update this policy and our App Store privacy disclosures before that version ships.

How we use your photos

• Your room photo and any inspiration images are sent securely to our servers, which pass them to an AI image model (currently Google Gemini and/or OpenAI) to produce your restyled designs.
• Photos and generated designs are stored so you can access your library across sessions.
• We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not permit our model providers to do so (we use their API terms, under which business API data is not used for training).
• We never publish, share, or market with your photos or your generated designs. Content on our social channels is created from synthetic or licensed images — never from customer uploads.

Pinterest connection (optional)

If you connect your Pinterest account, we request read-only access (boards and pins) so you can import your saved home-decor inspiration. We never post to Pinterest, never access private messages, and you can disconnect at any time in Settings or at pinterest.com/settings. RoomTrue is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pinterest.

Retention and deletion

• Uploaded photos and generated designs are retained while your account is active so your library keeps working.
• Designs you delete in the app are removed from our storage within 30 days.
• Deleting your account (Settings → Delete Account) immediately removes the account record, uploaded photos, generated designs, and credit ledger from our active systems. The app removes both private storage prefixes before deleting the authenticated user; backups age out within 90 days. You can also email [email protected] for deletion.
